Warning from National Right to Life

Live calls are being made to lists of pro-lifers asking if the person is pro-life, pro-choice or mixed. When the person responds pro-life, they are asked to donate to the “Right to Life Committee.”  When the person questions the caller about the committee they are given a PO Box in Washington, D.C. 20024.  When asked about what they do, the caller does not provide any information.

Further, when you Google Right to Life Committee, the first several items that come up are National Right to Life Committee.

These calls are not being made by and the money donated is NOT coming to National Right to Life Committee or Missouri Right to Life.  IF you should receive one of these calls, or if you hear from someone who receives one of these calls, it is suggested that you report the call as potential fraud to your state Attorney General’s office.

Disclaimer: NRLC and MRL both do telephone fundraising, but the caller will use the full name of the organization at the beginning of the call.
