Planned Parenthood Gives Misleading Medical Info to Sell Abortion!

Here is the latest undercover video from Live Action Films:

ACTION NEEDED!

Please call your State Senator and ask them to take all necessary measures and pass HB 1327 & 2000 or the Senate version of the bill (SB 793 or SCS SB 792) to protect women and their unborn children by expanding Missouri’s Women’s Right to Know law. These bills would, among other things, guarantee that women get the opportunity to see an ultrasound and hear their baby’s heartbeat 24 hours before an abortion. This legislative session ends on May 14th.

Do Babies Learn Language in the Womb?

UltrasoundThis is extraordinary! Live Science reports:

From their very first days, the cries of newborns already bear the mark of the language their parents speak, scientists now find.

French newborns tend to cry with rising melody patterns, slowly increasing in pitch from the beginning to the end, whereas German newborns seem to prefer falling melody patterns, findings that are both consistent with differences between the languages.

This suggests infants begin picking up elements of language in the womb, long before their first babble or coo.

Prenatal exposure to language was known to influence newborns. For instance, past research showed they preferred their mother’s voice over those of others.

Still, researchers thought infants did not imitate sounds until much later on. Although three-month-old babies can match vowel sounds that adults make, this skill depends on vocal control just not physically possible much earlier.

However, when scientists recorded and analyzed the cries of 60 healthy newborns when they were three to five days old — 30 born into French-speaking families, 30 into German-speaking ones — their analysis revealed clear differences in the melodies of their cries based on their native tongue.

Amazing! Study Shows Memory Forms at 30 Weeks in the Womb

UltrasoundBehold the awesome wonder of unborn human life!:

WEDNESDAY, July 15 (HealthDay News) — Fetuses that are only 30 weeks old may already possess short-term memory, Dutch researchers report.

“This is the next step into a better insight in the development of the fetal central nervous system,” said study co-author Dr. Jan G. Nijhuis, director of the Centre for Genetics, Reproduction and Child Health at Maastricht University Medical Centre in the Netherlands. “We aim to develop an ‘intra-uterine neurologic examination,’ which could then be used in fetuses at risk.”

Although memory is thought to develop while the baby is still in the womb, little else is known about the phenomenon.

“It is a fairly new idea to look at whether learning occurs in utero,” said Dr. Russell Fothergill, an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and director of ambulatory care at Scott & White.

The authors recruited 93 pregnant Dutch women, and then measured fetal responses to repeated “vibroacoustic” stimulation. Their report appears in the July/August issue of Child Development.

“We used a vibroacoustic stimulator, which leads to a combined stimulus of vibration and sound,” Nijhuis explained. “The stimuli were applied to the maternal abdomen above the fetal legs for a period of one second every 30 seconds. We counted the number of stimuli after which the fetus does not respond anymore.”

When the fetus makes the change to no longer responding, it is “habituated”; it recognizes the stimulus as “safe.”

The authors stated that habituation is a form of learning and needs an intact central nervous system.

“In its simplest form, [habituation] is related to how we think about humans learning,” Fothergill said.

Speaking of the development of the central nervous system, as there continues to be some debate on this, I wonder if they’re doing this much to determine unequivocally whether or not the unborn child does, in fact, feel pain when it’s being torn limb from limb, burned with a saline injection or has its brains sucked out during a late term abortion (or perhaps even earlier). In recent years we have tried to get a fetal pain awareness bill passed through the Missouri Legislature to no avail.
