Oh My Gosh! Your October article The Emperor Has No Clothes startled me. I copied it and sent it to other seniors. As a Stage IV lung cancer patient, I have often felt that my fellow non-survivors slipped away very quickly with end-of-life use of moriphine. Could it be that we are slipping into using moriphine to hasten death rather than help with cancer pain.
